Birth Doula Package

As a doula in training I am currently offering birth doula support packages at a discounted rate. Sliding-scale rates available

Currently serving in Ravenna, Kent, Akron, and surrounding areas in NE Ohio

Before Labor

1 to 2 prenatal meetings. We will get to know each other, go over your medical history, discuss labor preferences, and help you prepare for the postpartum period. I will provide helpful handouts and answer any questions/concerns you have about pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum.
I will consolidate information from your birth plan and create a concise document of preferences to distribute to the staff attending your birth.
From the time of hire, I will be available to you for support via phone call, text, and email.

During Labor

I will join you at your birthing location and provide multifaceted support throughout active labor.
If desired and if the situation permits, I will capture and provide you with 10-20 photographs that will be delivered on a password-protected online gallery.

After Birth

I will remain with you for 1-2 hours following the birth of your baby to offer any additional support you need. I will help you get settled, help establish breastfeeding (if desired), answer any questions you may have, and snap a few pictures if desired.
I will come visit you at your home within 1-2 weeks of your birth. I will bring along some birth notes, debrief the birth with you, and check on your mental and physical wellbeing.
I will provide resources as needed.
I will be available via phone call, text, and email for virtual support up to 4 weeks after birth.

Planned Cesarean Section Package

Before Birth

During Birth

I will join you at you at the hospital and help you get settled in and prepped for birth. I will provide a listening ear, answer any questions you may have, and provide a calm presence as you prepare to meet your baby.
I will join you in the operating room (it is the parent's responsibility to ensure their birthing location permits doulas) and provide multi-faceted support. I will be intentional to make both the mother and support person feel at ease and excited as you prepare to meet your baby.
If desired and if allowed by the hospital, I will capture and provide you with 10-20 photographs that will be delivered on a password-protected online gallery.

After Birth
